Ok so this review is only a couple months late since I purchased this back in May. But since I’ve slowed down my reviews to once a week, reviews are out later than usual. Luckily I don’t review fast fashion brands (or fast fashion adjacent) because at this pace, the items would be gone by the time my review comes out for most conventional brands. As it stands, Two Days Off is as intentional as it gets. If you’re not familiar with TDO you can find more about them in my first review of them here. And since then I’ve done quite a few more which you can find here.

Two Days Off Clothing Review: The Safia Midi Skirt
If you can’t already tell by now when I love a brand, I loooove them and have to try almost everything from them. It’s happened before with Everlane and Elizabeth Suzann, and I can tell it’s now happening with Two Days Off. So far I’ve reviewed two dresses and a top, but this will be my first review of a bottom. I saw this Safia Midi skirt on Gina and knew that this would be next on my list. I love the quality of their linen (which I’ve ranked as number one on my list of linen from ethical brands), so I knew I wanted to try it in this sleek looking midi skirt.

I purchased this top in November of last year, but have only worn it a handful of times. I was a little iffy about writing this post because I love Two Days Off and Gina, but I have to honestly say I don’t love this linen Olivia top. But it has nothing to do with the top, but rather it’s due to my own personal preference for smaller linen tops.

As you know I’m a huge fan of the Two Days Off Haruko dress since it made my top favorite things reviewed post and my most worn in 2020 post (you can find my Two Days Off Haruko Dress review here). So in December I decided to gift myself with another couple of pieces from Two Days Off one of which is this Kaneko Dress in mushroom linen. I had seen Gina rock hers on Insta and I knew it was the dress I wanted to try next!

It seems like every year I get jonsing for a new dress around spring time. Last year I got my “summer witch” Pyne and Smith linen dress. This year I wanted something a little more spring/summer-like and got this gingham Haruko dress from TwoDaysOff Clothing. If you haven’t heard of this slow fashion brand before, TwoDaysOff is run by the stylish GinaStovall (<— her insta account) out of Los Angeles. They use deadstock, natural fiber fabrics and either make things to order or in very small batches. They really focus on sustainability and making well-loved and thus well-worn clothes. Learn more about them here.
