Some of my favorite things in review are bags (both firsthand and secondhad) and anything from Quince. I’m all about the value!

March 2025 Recap

Goyard Belveder Bag

birthday bag

March is my birthday month and I definitely of overdid it on the shopping front. I plan to reel it back in for April for sure! But I did pick up a new Goyard bag (the Belvedere), some Hermes items (both old and new), and a new-to-me Cartier ring (which I’m already planning to sell—review coming soon). This month felt like a combination of doom spending and birthday spending, and honestly resulted in one of my highest credit card bills. So yes, I will have to go on a good ‘ole No Buy from here on out (ok actually starting after our trip back to Hawaii 😂). I used to be really good at No Buy months, but since the pandemic I’ve been spending like there’s no tomorrow. I wonder if I can get back to it. I have feeling it’s going to be harder than relearning how to ride a bike, which tbh isn’t the greatest analogy for me since I never really learned how to ride a bike. But I do have my very own No Buy July guide to help me get started on a No Buy Month(s).

Updated the following blog posts: Quince Home Review and Quince Turkish Towels Review (with the addition of the Turkish Ultra Plush Bath Sheet, which replaced my tired 10-year-old Pottery Barn towels), Goyard Cap Vert bag review (with some things I learned when I visited the Goyard Boutique), Polene Beri Review (I considered selling it but then changed my mind and needed to update the review 😂), Cafune Stance Bag Review (I revisited some of my older reviews of mid-range, high-quality bags and I honestly miss the Stance bag a bit).

We’ve been going on a mattress journey 😂 these past couple of months (and it’s still ongoing). We’ve been needing a new mattress since my pregnancy left permanent valleys in our old mattress that was giving me back pain. After much research we went for a Saatva Classic Luxury Firm mattress which I loooooved. I had the best sleep of my life. It was like a really good, luxury hotel mattress. Unfortunately it was giving my husband back pains. So we exchanged it (for $100+movers’ tip+ 2 weeks of waiting) for the Saatva Classic Firm. Now I’m having the worst sleep of my life while he’s having his best. I think we’re going to just have to return it (for another $100) and get a Sleep Number or something. Is this what getting old is like—each of our needs getting to be more specific with the possibility of them diverging completely? Haaalp 😩
