Did
Watched the Olympics through the Peacock app. Did you guys watch the Olympics? We decided to try out the Peacock app since we don’t have regular cable tv (or even the basic channels), but it was a great way to watch the Olympics. They had every single event and lots of highlights, and we watched many events for the first time (rowing, fencing, artistic swimming, shooting, equestrian, etc.). It was also really fun for our daughter who got a bit of extra screen time every night, but it was a family thing. We each chose one or two event highlights, and it was a great way to introduce the Olympics and all the different sporting events to our five-year-old. She’s been drawing different events from the Olympics all month.
The K-drama train kept on going with this month’s favorite being Destined With You (Netflix). I was pleasantly surprised with the Korean historical drama aspect of it, especially since I’m not usually a fan of Asian historical TV shows. I ended up really liking it and binge watched the whole thing in a couple days. I’m also watching Love Nextdoor on Netflix that airs every Sat and Sun. It’s kind of nice to go through a TV show without binging through it.
Updated the following posts: my Ruggable review (my standard rug pad was starting to breakdown so I bought a new cushioned one), the Quince shoes review (added the 100% suede driving loafers), and The Row Margaux 15 review (with some observations of really worn-in Margauxs).

Ruggable Cushioned Rug Pad: As I mentioned in my updated Ruggable review, my four year-old standard rug pad started disintegrating. So I upgraded to the cushioned rug pad, which wasn’t available when I first purchased my Ruggable. Yes I had to pay another $350 for the cushioned rug pad but I’m happy to now have a more cushioned living room rug area.
Ecovac Deebot T30 Combo: This was a housewarming present I bought for myself during Amazon Prime day (so technically this was purchased last month). But I cannot not mention it because this vacuum and mopping cleaning bot has fast become a favorite and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being one of the best things I bought all year. Of all the household chores I have to do, cleaning the floors is definitely near the bottom. And when we first moved into this house the floors were super dirty because of construction. I mopped twice but there was still a bit of gray dust on our feet. But within a couple of days the Deebot made our floors super clean. It also self cleans, though I do clean the tray and refill water tanks about once a week (after running it almost everyday). Plus this combo version also has a handheld vacuum that’s super useful and also auto-empties so I never have to shake out the dusty debris into a trash can. Anyway I’m sure I’ll be doing a full review of this since it’s honestly my favorite thing right now.
The Row Sofia 8.75 Crossbody Bag (pictured up top): I actually got this bag a couple of months ago but never wore it until this month (and that’s when I realized I forgot to mention it when I first purchased it). Honestly this bag is a tad small so that’s probably why I haven’t used it. I wore this out to a casual happy hour with a friend and it was the perfect under-the-radar going out bag. This is an older version that I got from Brandear on eBay so I got it for a pretty great price. It’s made of box leather and came with a couple of scratches, but I don’t mind since it’s harder to see on the dark brown leather. Of course review to come as soon as I use it at least a couple more times.
Returned
Hermes Trim II 31 in Epsom leather: I impulsively ordered this Hermes Trim bag from Fashionphile because it was a great price (sub-$1000) but unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the leather. Because of the stiff Epsom leather, the bag didn’t hang nicely off the shoulder (though it did stay on). I like the utility of this shoulder bag with both a zip and a clip, and I think in a softer leather the bag would feel really comfortable. So I’m not ruling this bag out but this one just wasn’t for me (and thank goodness Fashionphile takes returns).
