Packing: We are moving down the 680 next month so this month I spent the majority of the time packing. We’ve been living in this house for about 5 years now, and my goodness we have a lot of stuff. Before we moved here, we were moving about every couple of years so our stuff was manageable. But this time around we have pandemic-era purchases and a good amount of kid stuff, so we have A LOT of stuff. Wish us luck lol. Oh and if you’re interested, I decided to do a series of short videos as I pack up my bag collection.
Updated the following posts: Quince All Things Linen Review (added the linen maxi dress review), Quince Leather Bags Review (added a review of the crossbody pouch), Quince Shoes Review (added the suede penny loafers and the eco-cotton sneakers), and Dr. Jart Beauty Balm Review.
Watching: I’ve been enjoying Dark Matter on Apple TV. If you like a bit of a sci-fi, multi-verse type of drama then you might like this one. And of course I finished season 3 of Bridgerton when part two came out this month. As much as I enjoy Bridgerton (and other Regency era TV shows), this season lacked the same spark as season 2 (and maybe even 1) IMHO. I just hope they can keep the momentum going for the other storylines.

AHC Natural Perfection Double Shield Sun Stick: I was looking for a sunscreen stick that I could easily use while on the go, and I picked this one because it was one of the top ones on Amazon. This is from a Korean brand and I have to say I really love the formulation. The sunscreen goes on smoothly and not greasy at all. I feel comfortable rubbing this all over my neck and TBH I completely forget that I have sunscreen on. I also use this for my arms and the back of my hands. Best of all there’s also no smells (or just a very light one). However this is a chemical sunscreen so I don’t use it on Emi, nor would I use it at the beach (stick to mineral for that). I also don’t use it all over my body, just on certain areas. But overall I love having this bag during the sunny months and I can’t leave home without it.
Secondhand shoes from The Row via the RealReal: As much as I would love to jump on the jelly shoes trend from The Row, I can’t bring myself to spend that much for jelly shoes. And I know at some other point there will be dupes, but I don’t know if I’d be onboard for that either. So I satisfied my craving for summer shoes with some used shoes from the RealReal. I got the Triple Bow Cages Satin Mules (similar here) and the Coco Mules. I really love my secondhand white heels from The Row and I hope I end up loving these just as much. I need to do a full review of all my shoes from The Row soon (I’ve got 4 pairs and counting).
Hermes Picotin 22 in Etoupe Clemence leather from the boutique: At the very tail end of last month I was in Hawaii for several days helping my mom during her eye surgery, but I had about an hour and a half to sneak off to Hermes in Waikiki where I have a really nice SA. I purchased my Roulis Slim wallet from him back in March, and that was when I told him I was interested in a Picotin 22 (still chasing the Havane one from the RealReal that got away). Well he remembered and he asked if I was still interested. I didn’t even ask. He offered and I couldn’t say no (though my In-The-Loop 23 kind of scratched that handheld bucket bag itch). Anyway I still loved it when I saw it, especially since I like the color Etoupe (this will be my first Etoupe bag in my collection since I sold my Etoupe Evelyne PM). Of course I’ll do a review soon and compare it with my In-The-Loop 23 when I do!
Secondhand Hermes Garden Party 30 and Garden Party 36: I got both of these for a very good price from eBay. I never thought I’d be interested in such a simple, hand-carry kind of tote. But the Garden Party 30 in Swift leather has quickly become my most loved bag in my collection.
KiwiCo STEM Activity Boxes (<— $10 off referral link): In preparation for summer, I finally caved and purchased some activity boxes from KiwiCo. They’ve been on my radar for awhile thanks to some aggressive social media ads, but I finally decided to try them out since we have a couple of weeks between the end of school and the starts of a summer program. So far we’ve done one and it’s been great. But of course full review to come soon!
