After reviewing the Cafune Stance crossbody bag, I saw that their black wallet version was on sale at Shopbop (currently they have the black and white wallet and yellow wallet on sale) so I decided to take a chance to try it out. A long time ago I used to have the Chanel Wallet on Chain, which I loved for going out because it was so slim. But I ended up selling it because I always wanted to carry a little bit more and the Chanel WOC couldn’t fit it (usually my sunglasses). But I love that this Cafune wallet is a tad bigger so it can carry all my essentials.
These are my current Corona-related essentials complete with hand sanitizer and mask. As you can see, with these extras I can’t fit my sunglasses though I think without them it should fit. The inside has a zippered pocket (unlike the regular Stance bag), which I love and think is pretty clutch (especially for a wallet crossbody). There are also card slots on the other side if you want to store your cards that way. Like the original Stance bag, the closure is easy to open and close with one hand. I also like the top handle, which makes for easy carrying (though it won’t fit over a wrist like the original Stance).
The only thing I didn’t like about this bag was that the crossbody strap wasn’t a clip like on the regular Stance. Instead, it’s like a belt with notched holes. This made it a tad tricky to put the straps on and it would be super inconvenient to frequently take the strap on and off. But other than that, this is another beautifully well-made bag. If you’re the type to just carry essentials, this one might be a contender (especially at the Shopbop sale price).
