Hi guys, so if you haven't read my first Grana cashmere review you can find it here (but here's gist of it: Grana's cashmere = Everlane cashmere in quality and similar in price so it's really about what style you prefer). So today I'm trying out Grana's boyfriend v-neck sweater in a small. Also I chose the donegal wool to see how it measures up with Everlane's donegal wool sweater from last year.
So first, donegal cashmere in general is not as soft and is a bit scratchier than straight cashmere because of the flecks of different colored wool. This is true for both the Everlane and Grana donegal cashmere. But the Everlane donegal wool had multi-colored wool specks that were more pronounced so I think it was a bit more interesting than Grana's donegal wool which is just black flecks.

So I got the boyfriend v-neck sweater in a small because the sweater is meant to be oversized. And I'm glad I did because the sweater was quite large on top around the chest. But it also narrows quite a bit at the hips. The boyfriend sweater is also quite long, so I think the best way to wear it, especially for a short-ish person like myself, would be more like the Grana model with the bottom of the sweater pulled up to the waist and having the sweater double-up at the waist. If you wear it like I am below, the sweater has to stretch across the hips, which is both uncomfortable and unflattering. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of this style of sweater since it's kind of shapeless on top.
