Two Days Off Clothing Review: Jordan Dress
Ok so this review is only a couple months late since I purchased this back in May. But since I’ve slowed down my reviews to once a week, reviews are out later than usual. Luckily I don’t review fast fashion brands (or fast fashion adjacent) because at this pace, the items would be gone by the time my review comes out for most conventional brands. As it stands, Two Days Off is as intentional as it gets. If you’re not familiar with TDO you can find more about them in my first review of them here. And since then I’ve done quite a few more which you can find here.
Anyway you know I love TDO, now let me tell you why I love their Jordan dress. First of all, I originally was intrigued by this dress because off the drapey, jersey-like material that is called EcoVero. It’s basically a type of viscose made my Lenzing (the ones who also make Tencel), but it’s made from wood pulp sourced from responsibly managed forests and certified to come from sustainable sources. And EcoVero is produced with significantly lower fossil energy use and water than generic viscose (source). I still prefer to wear linen and cotton most of the time but sometimes you just want to throw on an easy comfy dress and I find that the Jordan dress is it.
I’m wearing an XS here and find that it fits well. Since the fabric is so stretchy the sizing is quite forgiving. I do find that the dress is a tad long for my 5’4” frame and I wish it was a tiny bit shorter. It looks especially leg-shortening when I wear it with flats (like in the pic below). I think I’m going to try to get it hemmed to right at the knee for a more flattering look.
Two Days Off does the details really well, and I like that this dress has a small v-neck in the front and a mirroring v-neck in the back. There are also two short slits on the side of the dress to make for easier walking and a slight flare. And of course I love their mindful production and shipping practices (they’re carbon neutral!). If you’re looking for an easy dress that looks instantly polished and is super versatile, I highly recommend checking out TDO’s Jordan dress! And if you’re a first time customer you can get $15 off your first purchase with the code FairlyCurated (I also would get $15 to apply to my next review item so thank you for your support!).
P.S. TDO is taking a month off so unfortunately my timing is a bit off here. Their shop won’t be up and running until September. But on the bright side, if you still want this dress a month from now it’ll be a great intentional purchase.
