Everlane Review: The Straight Leg Crop + Giveaway {Closed}
I originally purchased Everlane’s Straight Leg Crop pants while I was still pregnant last year because I was so excited to try these pants when they first came out. But sadly, due to the fibroids they sat in my closet untouched. So I was beyond thrilled to find that I could fit into them a couple months post fibroid surgery. And man oh man, they were worth the wait lol. I recently complained that Everlane jeans don’t fit me well, but these pants fit me like a glove.

First a note on sizing: I’m wearing a size 6 here. I’m usually a size 28 and a 4-6 in pants. But I guess post pregnancy I’m pretty much a solid 6, and I’m ok with that. I also ordered these in the short length instead of the regular since I’m 5’4” with short legs. I find the 6 to be a good fit without being too tight on the waist, which is my problem with most high-waisted pants. The 3% elastane also helps to give a little stretch so it’s perfectly comfortable. The material on this is definitely on the thicker side and feels like denim.
I’ve tried Everlane’s wide leg crop pant (wow that was three years ago!) but found the wide-ness not too flattering for my petite frame. That’s why I was so excited to see the straight leg crop because to me, it was the perfect width, without adding bulkiness. I also decided to be a little daring and try the bone color since I don’t have too many light colored bottoms (a long time ago I was told that you want to wear darker colors on the bottom if you’re pear-shaped, but let’s just throw out those outdated rules shall we). And I’m so happy I did because these light colored pants are the perfect compliment to my #stickofbutter looks lol. Also they’re 100% opaque. But now I guess I just have to be careful where I sit and when I eat.
Anyway since I haven’t done an Everlane giveaway in awhile, I decided to pop one down here. Thank you again to all those who support this blog. Enter the form below for a chance to win a $50 giftcard from Everlane (but not sponsored nor affiliated with Everlane). Giveaway ends on Sunday midnight PST and the winner will be announced on Monday. Please only one entry per person and email will only be used to contact the winner.
