Rellery Jewelry Review
And of the best things about the bulk of their pieces being made-to-order is that they have a lot of jewelry that can be made custom. Most jewelry brands that are in the affordable price range don’t do custom (and that’s probably because they mass produce it in somewhere like India). Or if a brand does custom (like a certain New York brand that I used to be a pretty big fan of), they only do it for their fine jewelry pieces. I love that Rellery offers so many pieces that can be customized since that can really give your jewelry meaning and makes it uniquely special. I chose to put Emi’s name on this heart bracelet and I loooove it! It’s great the Rellery let’s you choose the font that you want as well as symbols. You can also choose to engrave both the front and the back or just the front. If you rather have a custom necklace, the Double Heart Necklace is a similar item in necklace form, or the Initial Necklace might be a good option for those who want something simpler and not in heart-shape. Or if you want to a little more writing on your necklace (like maybe all your children’s names) then the Bar Necklace might be more up your alley.
The heart signet ring I’m wearing with this bracelet is also engravable but I chose not to since I didn’t want to be too “Emi”-d out in my jewelry (though now I’m wishing I had but my husband and my initials of “BE” instead but oh well). I love the sleek and minimal look of this ring and the touch of femininity it brings with the heart shape. They also have a square signet ring if you find the heart one too girly. Either would be a great classic ring that you could wear forever.
I was also lucky enough to get two pairs of earrings that I absolutely love: the Pearl Huggie and the Rainbow Pave Huggie Hoops. I wear mostly small minimal jewelry and am a big fan of huggie earrings, so I really love the wide variety of huggie earrings that Rellery makes (you can find their full selection of Huggie Earrings here). Sorry for the slightly blurry photo above but I was trying to capture my new earrings with one of my favorite prints from M.Koby titled Pride (since the earrings match the print lol). But there’s a better photo of the Rainbow Pave Huggie Earrings below, and you can see the stones are really bright and gorgeous. And you bet I’m going to be wearing these earrings all throughout Pride month. I also love that even though these are fairly small huggies, they were really easy to put on/take off with wide-opening and well-working hinges (which is not true for a lot of small huggie earrings, especially if they are cheaply-made). Also since these are 18k gold plated over sterling silver, they don’t irritate my ears when I wear them. I also love their Pearl Drop Earrings (if you want something bigger than the Pearl Huggie) and their Cuban Chain Huggie Earrings (which would go great with their Cuban Link Chain—a bold and classic necklace).
And on a personal note, as I mentioned above this is my first sponsored post in that I am getting paid to write this (though I didn’t ask for a lot—hello imposter syndrome plus I didn’t want to scare them away with a fee that seemed too high), which is a dream come true (to be paid to write!). I had originally planned to start reaching out to brands to ask to be paid for my work early this year (which I had mentioned last year was my goal: to become a legit blogger who can support their family with my writing). But then the pandemic hit and in general it’s been lean times for this blogger. So what a refreshing surprise when the kind folks at Rellery tell me upfront that they want to pay me for my work. This brings to mind an Insta post from Aja Barber that ethical companies pay for labor. For the last six years I’ve worked with many “ethical companies” (and one specifically that I generated quite a bit of sales for) but not one of them offered to pay for my labor. So I want to personally thank the Rellery team for giving me the opportunity to see my value and for respecting what I do here. And now I have these 4 wonderful tokens of appreciation to remind myself that after 6 years of hard work I’m finally a paid writer (huzzah!).
P.S. My referral link here will get you $10 of your first purchase of $40 or more (I would also get a future $10 off). Thanks for supporting the brands that support this blog!
